Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. Fer will be playing the doubles match with Feliciano

against Portuguese Rui Machado. It went to 5 sets and Fer won it 6-7(5) 7-6(5)

In doubles Fer and Feli play their 2nd round match today against Arnold Ker / Cañas. It is the 3rd match on court 13. To get here they won the previous match 6-3 2-1 when the French duo Llodra / Clement had to retire. Then, looking at the draws, Fer & Jelena are not playing mixed doubles after all.

for their third round doubles match, but they decided not to play.

Fernando didn't win was his first round mixed doubles match, which he and Marta
lost 6-4 3-6 5-7.
Tomorrow Fernando will play two matches: his fourth round singles match and his third round doubles match. In the singles match he will play against Mario Ancic, the match is first on Court 11 (play starts at 12 pm). In the doubles match Fernando and Feliciano will play against Jonas Bjorkman and Kevin Ullyett, that match is fourth and last on Court 18 (play starts at 12 pm).

It was great fun cheering him on live!
Unfortunately Roger Federer ended Fer's run in Hamburg today.
He lost 3-6 3-6 and was also bothered by a foot injury. Let's hope it's nothing
too bad and that he'll recover soon and will be ready for the next Grand Slam!

Today Fernando is playing his third round match in Hamburg against
compatriot David Ferrer. They play the first match on Centre Court, play starts
at 11 am.
*update* Fernando is on fire this week! Today he managed to get past David Ferrer in straight sets: 7-6(4) 6-2. Waiting in the quarter final is Roger Federer; they play the second match on Center Court tomorrow, not before 1 pm. Suerte Fernando!

Fernando is still on fire! Today he easily beat Michael Llodra for
a spot in the third round: 6-2 6-0. In the third round he will meet compatriot
David Ferrer; the match will be played on Thursday.

What a great start for Fernando in Hamburg! He played a suberb match
which resulted in a straight-set win over Mikhail Youzhny: 6-3 6-2. Tomorrow
he will meet Michael Llodra in the second round. The match is played second

No quarterfinal in Rome this year, in singles that is. Fer lost to
Blake 7-5 5-7 2-6. Today, 2nd match on court 1, he will try, with Feli, to get
to the Semis of the doubles tournament. They face Santoro / Gasquet. Good luck

Well done to Fer & Feli, and the rest of the Spanish team! Spain is the
first team to reach semi finals! Fer & Feli got the deciding point yesterday
by beating Kohlschreiber / Petzschner 6-7(3) 7-6(1) 6-4 2-6 12-10! Spain will
play either the USA or France next. Congrats guys!!!
The final score of the quarterfinal between Spain and Germany is: 4-1. Fernando beat Berrer 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4 and Feli lost to Kiefer 4-6 6-7(2).
Also the draw for Valencia is out and Fernando, who is the 7th seed, plays Nicolas Lapentti in the first round.

Spain won their Davis Cup tie in Peru this weekend. On Friday Nicolas
and Tommy won their singles matches in straight sets and yesterday Fer &
