No quarterfinal in Rome this year, in singles that is. Fer lost to
Blake 7-5 5-7 2-6. Today, 2nd match on court 1, he will try, with Feli, to get
to the Semis of the doubles tournament. They face Santoro / Gasquet. Good luck

Woohoo! Again a great win for Fer! He beat Lapentti 6-2 5-7 6-2 and
will face James Blake tomorrow, 3rd match on court 1. Suerte Fer! Also success
in the doubles: a 6-7(4) 6-4 10-7 victory for Fer & Feli!!

Great win for Fer! After losing the other 5 meetings, today he got
the better of Moya and beat him 6-3 6-4. Up next is Nico Lapentti, again! They
will play 3rd match on court 6. It's a busy day tomorrow as the 2nd round doubles
are also being played. Final match of the day on Center Court against Bhupathi

The next Masters Series is here: Rome. First round in singles is against
11th seed Carlos Moya. In doubles Fer will be playing with Feli again and they

Unfortunately the Semi Final was the final stop for Fer & Feli.
After beating Arnold/Nalbandian 7-5 6-2 they lost to the Bryans in a close match:

Yesterday Fer & Feli won their doubles match 6-4 6-2. Tomorrow
they will play, not before 4pm, on court one. They will have to beat Arnold/Nalbandian

Well done to Fer & Feli, and the rest of the Spanish team! Spain is the
first team to reach semi finals! Fer & Feli got the deciding point yesterday
by beating Kohlschreiber / Petzschner 6-7(3) 7-6(1) 6-4 2-6 12-10! Spain will
play either the USA or France next. Congrats guys!!!
The final score of the quarterfinal between Spain and Germany is: 4-1. Fernando beat Berrer 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4 and Feli lost to Kiefer 4-6 6-7(2).
Also the draw for Valencia is out and Fernando, who is the 7th seed, plays Nicolas Lapentti in the first round.
