In the quarterfinal Fer beat Roitman in 3 sets 7-6(6) 3-6 6-3. Unfortunately he lost the semi final today to Juan Monaco 5-7 5-7. Fantastic match to watch. Congrats on a great week!

Next week Fernando will play the challenger in Segovia. He got a wild card and is the no.1 seed. In the first round he plays Mikhail Ledovskikh from Russia.

Quarterfinal day in Kitzbühel. Fer will play Sergio Roitman in the 3rd match on Center Court. Yesterday he beat Almagro 6-2 7-6(6). Congrats and good luck for today's match!

Kitzbühel has started nicely for Fer. Yesterday he beat Luis Horna 6-1 6-4 and today at 11:00 am he will meet Nico Almagro on Center Court for a place in the Quarter Finals. Vamos Fer!

Fernando & Guillermo won their semi final: 7-6(2) 6-7(3)10-3. Unfortunately they lost the final 4-6 4-6, but still congratulations for a great tournament! It made Fer's doubles ranking go up 161 places to #151. Also his singles ranking is up 7 on the entry list to 41, and up 4 in the ATP Race to 45. Keep it going!!!

This morning at 10:30 Fer & Guillermo will have to finish their doubles semifinal. They were leading 7-6(2) 2-0 last night when play was suspended due to darkness. If they win, the will play Cermak/Friedl for the title at 12:00. Go for it guys!!!

Also the draw for Kitzbühel is out. Fer is the 11th seed and has a bye in the first round.

Yesterday Fernando played 2 quarterfinals. Unfortunately he lost in singles to Chela 6-2 3-6 2-6. With Guillermo he did beat the no.1 seeds Aspelin/Knowle 7-6(2) 6-0. The last match on Centre Court today will see the guys competing for a place in the final. Their opponents are Acasuso/Monaco. Vamos Fer & GGL!

Fernando & Guillermo beat Mirnyi/Zverev 6-3 6-3 and will meet Aspelin/Knowle in the final match on Centre Court tomorrow. Before that, in the 2nd Centre Court match of the day, Fernando will have to face Chela for a place in the Semi Finals. VAMOS Fernando!!!

Busy day today! 3rd match on Centre Court will be Fer against David Ferrer. Later today, after a suitable rest and not before 6:30 pm Fernando and Guillermo will play their first round doubles match. Good luck!

edit: Great result in singles today! Fer beat David 7-5 6-3. Well done!! Up next will be Juan Ignacio Chela.

The doubles match was postponed to 1 pm on Thursday because the singles started much later than planned.

Next stop: Stuttgart. Fernando will be on Centre Court today playing his first round match against Florian Mayer. The match will not start before 4:45 pm. Fer has also teamed up with Guillermo Garcia Lopez again for doubles. They will play Mirnyi / Zverev in round one.

What a close match that was today!! After being a set and a break down Fer fought himself back in the match by winning the second set. The match went to a tie-break in the third set. Unfortunately Fernando lost the match 3-6 7-5 6-7(4).

Today Fer played his first round match in Båstad and he beat Erling Tveit of Norway 7-5 6-1. Up next is Robin Soderling. Go for it Fernando!

Tomorrow it's time to go back to the claycourts again. Fer will be in Båstad, Sweden where he will play a qualifier in the first round. Lycka till Fer!!!

Yesterday Wimbledon 2007 ended for Fer in the third round. Andy Roddick beat him 6-3 6-3 7-6.
