Back from Barcelona. Fer was there as well, not playing, but some practice
and signing autographs in the Tecnifibre stand. Lots of people turned up and
Fer signed and smiled for about 40 minutes. LOL pics will follow shortly.
Good news, Fer said he was feeling better and is hopeful to play Rome.

Tomorrow Gaby and myself will fly to Barcelona, so no updates the coming
week. Unfortunately Fer won't be playing there because of an injury. We wish
Fer a speedy recovery.

Today is the start of AMS Monte Carlo. Fer will face Richard Gasquet
in the first round of the singles competition. To start things of he's already
on court today, playing doubles with Novak Djokovic in the 4th match on court
2.

Yesterday Fer lost 1-6 6-4 3-6 to Starace. Get some rest now! And hopefully
see back on court next week!

Fer will be on his way to Valencia. He's the number 4 seed and will

Not the best start of this Quarterfinal. Tommy lost 4-6 3-6 4-6 to
James Blake and Fernando lost 6-7(5) 1-6 4-6 to Andy Roddick. So will the USA
finish this tie with a win in the doubles today? Or will Fer & Feli fight
off the Bryan brothers to make it 2-1? VAMOS!
edit: unfortunately Spain is out of the Davis Cup for this year. Great fight from Fer & Feli but they lost 5-7 3-6 6-3 6-7(5)

The draw is out and it's going to be a busy weekend for Fernando. He
will be playing both in singles and in doubles. Tommy Robredo will be the other
singles player and Feliciano Lopez will join Fernando in doubles. First up on
Friday: Blake v Robredo followed by Roddick v Verdasco.
