Okay, today was doubles day for Fer & Feli. What a tight match it was!!! Unfortunately they lost to Allegro/Santoro: 6-7(4) 6-4 8-10. A real shame but what can you do? So now we prepare for the Davis Cup. Good luck with that guys!

No win in Croatia for Fer. He lost 4-6 6-7(7) to Gicquel. Better luck in doubles!!!

Next week Fernando will be in Zagreb. He will play both singles and doubles. In singles he's the number 5 seed and will face Marc Gicquel of France in the first round. It's the final Centre Court match on Monday. Buena suerte Fer.

Together with Feliciano Lopez he will play Yves Allegro and Fabrice Santoro in round one. VAMOS chicos!

Fernando has been chosen to play the first round of the Davis Cup against Switzerland. He will join Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez.

Fer's Australian Open ends in round 2. He lost 6-7(4) 5-7 4-6 to Andy Murray.

It was a very hot day in Melbourne today. Because of the heat, matches were postponed and even moved to different courts. Fernando and Paul-Henri got to play in the Vodafone Arena instead of court 11. It didn't go too well for Fer, he got 6-7 4-6 6-6 (1-3) behind when Paul-Henri hurt his right ankle and had to retire. Let us all hope that Mathieu will have a speedy recovery. Fernando's next opponent will be Andy Murray.

On Wednesday it's doubles time for Fernando. Together with Nicolas Almagro he will face Andrei Pavel and Alexander Waske. It will be the 4th match on court 10. Good luck guys!!!

Today is the first day of the Australian Open. Fer isn't playing yet. His first round opponent will be Paul-Henri Mathieu of France.

He'll be playing on Tuesday, 4th match on court 11. Play starts at 11.00 a.m. ¡Buena suerte Fer!

The second round was the final stop for Fer in Sydney this year. Carlos Moya beat him 4-6 7-6(9) 6-4. Well done Carlos and Fer, good luck for the first Grand Slam of the year ;)

Fantastic start of the new season with a 6-4 6-4 win over Grosjean! Well done Fer! Next up will be either Luke Bourgeois of Australia or Spain's Carlos Moya.

It's almost time for Fer's first tournament of the new season. Sydney will be the place to be. First up for Fer will the 8th seed Sebastien Grosjean of France.
