The draws for Las Vegas are out. Fernando is the number 8 seed in the
singles draw and plays Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany in the first round.
He also plays doubles with Tommy
Robredo, what a nice surprise! In the first round they will play the 4th
seeds Gaston Etlis (arg) & Stephen Huss (aus).

Happy Valentine's Day! Fernando and Feliciano played their first round
in the doubles. The lost 6-7(7) - 4-6 to Knowles / Nestor. Tomorrow Fernando
plays Jurgen Melzer at 11.00GMT. ¡Vamos!

So sorry to see that the Spanish Davis Cup team wasn't able to win
this first round against Belarus. They lost 1-4. Yesterday Fernando and Feli
lost their doublesmatch 6-7(2) 4-6 5-7. Again Spain will have to play in September
to stay in the World Group.

Next up is Marseille. Fernando meets Jurgen Melzer of Austria in the first round. He will also be playing doubles with Feliciano again. Their first round is a tough one; they play the number 1 seeds: Knowles / Nestor.

Today was the day of the first singles in the Davis Cup. Unfortunately
Robredo and Ferrer both lost their match. Tomorrow Fernando and Feliciano will
play the doubles against Mirnyi and Voltchkov.
Fingers crossed they will win this one and keep the chance of winning this tie alive! ¡VAMOS!
